Hanne Moe Bjørnbet is a Labor Party politician. From January the 1st 2018, she was the main committee leader for education in Trøndelag County Municipality, and since 2013 has been the leader of the Trondheim Labor Party.
As a 16-year-old, Bjørnbet became active in 1997 at AUF in Trondheim. In the period from 1999 to 2001 she has been the leader of AUF in Trondheim, whiole before that she was the leader of AUF in Sør-Trøndelag for the period 2002-2004. At AUF’s national meeting in 2004, Bjørnbet was elected as a member of AUF’s central board, the role she has held for 6 years until 2010.
Bjørnbet has previously been elected to Trondheim City Council. In the period 2013-2017, Bjørnbet was committee leader for education, before she after the merger of the Trøndelag
counties in 2018 was elected as the main committee leader for education in Trøndelag county. (Source: Wikipedia)
Hanne Moe Bjørnbet was one of several politicians from the main committee for education in Trøndelag county municipality who proposed naming a new upper secondary school in Trondheim after Cissi Klein.
